Mission Impossible are an eight-piece soul, rhythm and blues band from West London. Born out of the Blues Brothers inspired soul revival of the mid eighties, the band have been going strong for over 25 years. Performing over a thousand gigs in pubs, clubs and parties all over the UK and Europe, they play classic soul hits such as 'Soul Man', 'Mustang Sally' and 'Midnight Hour' mixed with current dance floor fillers like Amy Winehouse's 'Valerie' and Pharrell Williams' 'Happy'.
Mission Impossible live by the belief that to play music is to have fun. And when you see this band playing the music that they love, you'll feel that fun too! Sensational lead vocalist Bernadette Powell showcases her huge gospel range on Janis Joplin's 'Piece of my Heart',rips the roof off with Tina Turners 'Nutbush City Limits' and then hands over to the band's blistering brass section to belt out perpetual floor fillers like 'Pick Up The Pieces'.
Comprising of musicians who have played on such hits as 'Rolling In The Deep' by Adele and 'Next to Me' by Emile Sande, quality is assured and a night of dancing and grooving is guaranteed!
Since they played DorsetFest 2016, we've been inundated with requests to get them back and we're delighted to have them back in 2018
